Early Childhood Support Staff (Immediate)

Department: First School
Location: Annapolis, MD

Key School is seeking two part-time staff members for the 2024-2025 academic year to support students and teachers from 12:15 pm-1:45 pm daily, Monday through Friday, for a total of 7.5 hours/week. The hourly rate of pay is $24.06.

The staff members responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring students during lunch time
  • Transitioning students into rest time
  • Supervising students during rest time and supporting one on one as needed.

*Support staff members will always be paired with another teacher in the classroom.

Qualified candidates will:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have or completing a high school diploma
  • Demonstrate experience working with young children through previous work or personal experience.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires indoor and outdoor student supervision each day. The students go outside to play in most conditions, including light rain, snow and hot and cold temperatures. Candidates also need to be physically able to transition between sitting on the floor and child-sized chairs.

The ability to move around a mid-size campus with uneven pavement and manage stairs is needed.
